Russian drone hits apartment building in Kyiv, injuring woman – video

A Russian drone has hit a multi-storey residential building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, injuring a woman.

Details: Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that a UAV had struck a nine-storey apartment building in the Darnytskyi district at the level of the third and fourth floors. Rescue services are heading to the scene.

Interfax-Ukraine said the impact occurred on Revutskoho Street in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district.

At 17:38, Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a woman was injured as a result of the Russian drone hitting the residential building in the Darnytskyi district.

At 18:00, Klitschko reported that the fire on the fourth and eighth floors of the building had been extinguished. Medics treated one injured woman at the scene.

Meanwhile, in the Solomianskyi district, cars are ablaze as a result of falling drone debris.

Later, the mayor added that debris had fallen in a park in the Holosiivskyi district.

A fire broke out in an open area at another location, and cars are on fire elsewhere in the Holosiivskyi district.

In the Darnytskyi district, debris fell onto the premises of a nursery.
