Fuel tanks hit in Kyiv, mayor says

Fuel tanks have been hit in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district.

Details: Emergency services are heading to the scene. There is currently no information about the extent of the damage, whether a fire has broken out or whether there are any casualties.

Background:

• On 21 September, Russian forces struck two petrol stations in Zhytomyr Oblast. One of the strikes hit a petrol station belonging to the WOG network in the Zviahel district. No casualties were reported.
• On 13 September, Russian troops attacked four petrol stations in Zhytomyr Oblast within one day.
• According to estimates by Ekonomichna Pravda, Russian attacks have damaged or destroyed more than 300 Ukrainian petrol stations over the past six months.
