Drones attack Russia's largest petrochemical complex in Tobolsk

Drones attacked the West Siberian Petrochemical Complex – Russia's largest petrochemical facility – in the city of Tobolsk in Tyumen Oblast, Russia, on the afternoon of 10 August.

Details: According to an OSINT analysis by ASTRA, the drones attacked the central gas fractionation unit of ZapSibNaftohim, Russia's largest petrochemical complex, which belongs to the Sibur holding company. It is located approximately 2,200 km from the border with Ukraine.

The governor confirmed the drone attack on the region and reported that several UAVs had fallen on the grounds of one of the oblast's industrial facilities. However, he did not specify which one.

The Exilenova+ channel and local Russian Telegram channels also posted photographs and footage of the fire at ZapSibNaftohim.

Background: On the morning of 10 August, drones attacked Nizhnekamsk in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, where an oil refinery is located.
