Zelenskyy arrives at NATO summit in Ankara

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Ankara on Tuesday for the NATO summit.

Details: Zelenskyy is scheduled to give an address at the Defence Industry Forum and attend a number of bilateral meetings and a dinner for NATO member state leaders, which US President Donald Trump is also expected to attend.

Media reports have indicated that Trump will meet Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO summit.

The final declaration of NATO's Ankara summit on 7-8 July will reportedly include a statement that Russia poses a threat to Euro-Atlantic security, as well as a pledge by Alliance member states to provide Ukraine with €70 billion in military support annually in 2026-2027.

A NATO-Ukraine Council meeting at foreign minister level will also take place during the summit.
