"Russia seeks only war": Zelenskyy comments on Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih – photos

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commented on the missile strike launched by Russian forces on the city of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the evening of 4 April. He said that this attack shows the whole world that Russia does not want a ceasefire and seeks only war.

Quote: "A Russian missile struck an ordinary city, directly hitting a street in an area with residential buildings. Preliminary reports suggest it was a ballistic missile strike. As of now, 14 fatalities have been confirmed, including six children. My condolences to their families and loved ones."
Details: Zelenskyy reported that a rescue operation is currently underway in the city. At least five buildings have been damaged. He also posted several photos from the scene of the strike.

More details: Zelenskyy reiterated that the end of the war depends on global pressure on Russia and the strengthening of Ukraine’s military capabilities.
He believes that the United States, Europe and other countries around the world have sufficient means to force Russia to abandon terror and war. "And this must be ensured – peace is needed," Zelenskyy stressed.

Background: On the evening of 4 April, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on a residential area in Kryvyi Rih. Fourteen people were confirmed killed and over 50 injured.
