Russians strike Sumy Oblast with mortars, injuring elderly woman

Russian troops attacked the Myropillia hromada in Sumy Oblast with mortars on 14 April, injuring a 76-year-old woman. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Quote: "According to the investigation, on 14 April 2025, at around 17:00, the occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the Myropillia hromada, Sumy district, using artillery.

As a result of the Russian attack, a 76-year-old woman who was in her own house sustained injuries; she has been taken to hospital."
