Update: Later, Strilka said in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda that he mistakenly mentioned the wrong number of children who were killed in one of the interviews he gave.
Quote: "There were many media outlets there and I gave various interviews. In one of them, I made a mistake and said the number seven; I apologised and asked to correct it. It was rewritten, but for some reason, it was aired as it was. That is, with the wrong number. As of now, two children were killed in that attack."
Background:
- Earlier, it was reported that 34 people had been killed and another 117 people injured in the Russian attack on Sumy.
- The high number of fatalities and casualties in the missile attack was caused by a second Russian ballistic strike.
