Russians strike civilian car in Sumy Oblast, injuring two people

Two men were injured as the result of a Russian FPV drone attack on a civilian car in Sumy Oblast on Saturday 12 April.

Quote: "On 12 April 2025, around 13:20, the occupiers attacked a vehicle moving through the village of Krasnopillia, Sumy district; early reports indicate [that the Russians attacked – ed.] with an FPV drone.

The driver and passenger of the car were injured as a result of the enemy attack. The 49-year-old and 39-year-old men were provided with medical aid."

Details: The prosecutor's office added that the vehicle was heavily damaged.

Background:

• On Saturday, Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone on a volunteer car in the Dniprovskyi district in Kherson, killing a man and injuring two others.
• On the same day, Russian forces attacked a civilian car with an attack drone in Donetsk Oblast, injuring three people.
