Nighttime Russian attack on Kyiv: fires reported in two districts, two people injured – photos

Air defence forces were responding in the city of Kyiv on the night of 11-12 April. Fires have broken out in the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital as a result of a Russian attack. Two people have been injured.

Details: Klitschko said that a fire had broken out in non-residential premises in the Sviatoshynskyi district and a house was on fire in the Darnytskyi district.
Later, he reported that two people had been injured in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

At 06:46, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on the aftermath of the Russian attack in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

Quote: "A fire occurred in a one-storey warehouse building with an area of 1,500 sq m at one of the scenes. The fire was contained at 06:22.

At another scene there is a fire that broke out in two warehouse buildings with areas of 1,000 and 150 sq m with partial destruction on the premises of an industrial plant. Fire containment operations are ongoing."
Updated: As of 07:00, the State Emergency Service reported that fires in the Sviatoshynskyi district had been contained. Aftermath is currently being dealt with.
