Ukrainian women's team wins team event at 2025 European Wrestling Championships

The women's national team of Ukraine has won the team event at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships, which are taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Details: The Ukrainian team scored a total of 180 points, Türkiye was second with 158 points, and Romania rounded out the top three teams (79 points).

Ukrainian women won eight medals at the championship, four of which were gold.
Thus, Oksana Livach, Anastasia Alpieieva, Iryna Bondar and Alla Bielinska became champions.
Bronze medals went to Alina Filipovych, Oleksandra Khomenets, Iryna Koliadenko and Solomiia Vynnyk.

- The European Championships started on Monday 7 April. Over the course of the week, representatives of freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's wrestling will compete for 30 medals in ten weight categories in each sport.
