Ukrainian delegation arrives in US to discuss minerals deal, NYT reports

A Ukrainian delegation arrived in Washington on Friday 11 April for a new round of talks with the United States on a rare earth metals agreement.

Details: NYT sources from the Ukrainian side reported that the negotiations between Ukraine and the US on the mineral agreement were expected to begin on Friday and continue for two days. They will be mostly technical in nature and will not involve senior officials.

The Ukrainian delegation is headed by Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Kachka and includes representatives from the Ministries of Economy and Justice.
There are no details on the composition of the US negotiating team.
