Zelenskyy and foreign officials commemorate victims on third anniversary of Bucha's liberation – photos

On the third anniversary of Bucha’s liberation from Russian forces, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska and a foreign delegation from nearly 20 countries honoured the memory of the murdered Ukrainians.

Details: The presidential couple placed candles at the memorial located on the grounds of the Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called and All Saints of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

The Office of the President reported that the commemoration was attended by leaders and representatives of the parliaments of Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, Czechia, Sweden and the European Parliament.

Representatives of Ukraine’s top leadership and local authorities were also present.
For reference: The Russian occupation of Bucha lasted for 33 days, from 27 February to 31 March 2022. During this period, the Russians killed 561 civilians, including 12 children.
