Details: As a result of a recently conducted special operation, the helicopters were destroyed by missile strikes (using a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher as shown in the video) deep in Russian territory, where the Russians had established an aircraft launch pad – a concealed position for the rapid redeployment of aircraft or unexpected attacks on Ukraine's security and defence forces.
Quote from Special Operations Forces: "The enemy once again believed they were unreachable in the deep rear. We have once again proven that nothing is beyond the reach of the Special Operations Forces. We keep working!"
For reference: The Ka-52 is an attack helicopter used by the Russians for reconnaissance and strikes on ground targets. Mi-8 transport helicopters are used by the Russian forces to transport personnel and cargo and support ground operations.
