Quote: "On 3 January, the enemy stormed the position of the 141st Separate Infantry Brigade east of point 160.9. The soldiers surrendered. They were tied up, led out in front of the position, and shot in the back of the head. If the brigade is interested in finding the culprits, we hope they will provide the video to law enforcement agencies."
Details: DeepState reiterated that the killing and abuse of Ukrainian prisoners of war by the Russians is systematic and supported by Russia’s military and political leadership.
Background: Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, has said the number of cases of Ukrainian soldiers being executed by the Russians in 2024 was nearly double that of the preceding two years of the war.
