Russian UAV damages energy infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia Oblast

An energy infrastructure facility in the Zaporizhzhia district was damaged in a Russian drone attack on the night of 4-5 January.

Details: The police reported that the bombardment caused no casualties.

The police also recorded Russian shells hitting houses and damaging garages, outbuildings, property and vehicles.

Russian forces used combat drones, aircraft, artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems to attack settlements in the Zaporizhzhia, Polohy and Vasylivka districts of Zaporizhzhia Oblast on 4 January.

Over the past 24 hours, 370 Russian strikes have been reported in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Background: On the night of 4-5 January 2025, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 103 UAVs, 61 of which were shot down and 42 disappeared from radar.
