Russian missile attack on Chernihiv: number of people injured increases, search and rescue operation completed

Latest reports indicate that a Russian Iskander missile strike on Chernihiv on 3 January left one person dead and seven others injured.

Details: Two of the injured are in hospital, while five others are receiving outpatient treatment.

A total of 28 houses were damaged, with two utterly destroyed. Electricity and gas supplies have since been restored to the area heavily affected by the missile strike.

The search and rescue operation was completed on the afternoon of 4 January.
