Ukrainian air defence downs 34 Russian drones overnight, 47 more disappear from radar

Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 34 Russian UAVs on the night of 3-4 January, while another 47 drones disappeared from radar.

Details: The Air Force noted that the Russians attacked Ukraine with 81 UAVs, launched from the directions of the Russian cities of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The drones were shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts.

The downed UAVs caused damage in Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, damaging houses there. Some civilians sustained injuries in the attacks.
