Multiple world karate champion killed in war against Russia

Oleksandr Semeniuk, a multiple world champion in Karate Kata, has been killed in action during the war against Russia.

Details: Semeniuk lost his life while performing a combat mission. He was not only a celebrated athlete but also a dedicated coach.

Oleksandr was renowned not only for his achievements in sports but also for his immense contribution to the development of karate in Ukraine. His dedication to the sport and drive for excellence inspired many young athletes.

The Ukrainian Karate Federation, on behalf of all its members, expresses its deepest condolences to Oleksandr Semeniuk's family, friends and everyone who knew and respected him." 

Background: Ukrainian football referee Andrii Shchepotiev was also killed in action while fighting against the Russians.
