Russians attack Chernihiv with ballistic missiles: 1 person killed and 5 injured – photo, video
One person has been killed and five injured in a Russian attack on the city of Chernihiv. Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration has reported that several buildings have been badly damaged.

Details: Bryzhynskyi reported that the first explosion was caused by a missile hitting the outskirts of the city.
Later, Bryzhynskyi said the outskirts of Chernihiv had been hit by a group missile strike.
The Ukrainian Air Force had issued a warning about a ballistic missile attack on Chernihiv.
Three explosions have been reported by Suspilne.
Update: Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that the Russians carried out a triple missile strike on residential areas on the outskirts of Chernihiv, causing significant destruction to several houses.
Chaus confirmed that one person was killed and several others injured. A search and rescue operation is ongoing.
Chaus later said on the national joint 24/7 newscast that the Russians had launched three ballistic missiles, thought to be Iskander-Ms, which hit a residential area and the city’s outskirts. He said a 72-year-old man had been killed in the attack.
Bryzhynskyi added that the missile attack had badly damaged two houses and damaged the windows of seven others.
Early reports indicate that one person was killed and four injured.
