Ukrainian Defence Ministry presents cable-controlled drones – photo
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has presented fibre-optic cable-controlled FPV drones to the military, among them potential operators of the drones.

Quote: "A number of domestic manufacturers presented more than a dozen models of drones, some of which are capable of carrying up to three kilogrammes of payload. The demonstration flights were directly observed by experienced UAV operators, as they are potential users of the latest technology on the battlefield."
Details: Lieutenant Colonel Yevhen Tkachenko, Head of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Department of the Defence Ministry's Defence Innovation Directorate, said that most of the UAVs presented at the demonstration were already at the final stage of codification and would be supplied to the Ukrainian defence forces in the near future. He noted that the UAVs would be resistant to electronic warfare.
Background:
- In late December, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry codified and authorised the supply of the domestic-produced Shchedryk unmanned aerial vehicle, which can monitor the Russians day and night.
- In December, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine codified and authorised the use of the Ravlyk robotic platform by Ukrainian troops.
