Analysts from the DeepState project have updated their map on the night of 14-15 January and reported that the Russians have occupied the village of Yantarne in Donetsk Oblast.

Quote: "The enemy has occupied Yantarne and advanced in Yaseneve, Uspenivka, Chasiv Yar, near Novoielyzavetivka and Yantarne. The contact line in Chasiv Yar has been adjusted accordingly [on the map – ed.]."

Background

  • On 14 January, the General Staff reported that 18 combat clashes had occurred in the operational zone in Russia’s Kursk Oblast since the beginning of the day, two of which were ongoing at the time of the report.
  • On the Pokrovsk front, the Russians attacked near the settlements of Yantarne, Novotoretske, Promin, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Chunyshyne, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Novoandriivka, Nadiivka, Petropavlivka and Shevchenko.
