Details: RBC, citing a source, reports that Vladimir Feshchenko, an officer in the FSB's counterintelligence department, was shot dead in Moscow. The incident, which took place in a building of the Russian Defence Ministry, was confirmed by both the source and TASS.

The source told RBC that the leading theory is that the killing was accidental, with the bullet striking Feshchenko in the head.

RIA Novosti reported that the killing stemmed from a domestic dispute with a military man. A suspect has been arrested, and a criminal case has been launched.
