Russian drone wreckage hits several oblasts: petrol station damaged and one injured in Zhytomyr Oblast – photos

Russian forces attacked Zhytomyr Oblast on the night of 13-14 January. The wreckage of downed attack drones damaged petrol stations and cars, and one person was injured. There is also some damage in Kyiv and Cherkasy Oblasts.

Details: Bunechko said that the person who sustained injuries was taken to hospital for surgery.

Update: The fall of wreckage from downed Russian drones also caused damage in Kyiv and Cherkasy oblasts.

Ihor Taburets reported that drone debris had damaged five windows of several commercial organisations in the Cherkasy district. Early reports indicate that there were no casualties, but the area is being inspected. 

Mykola Kalashnyk said that the roof of a house in Kyiv Oblast was damaged by the fall of wreckage from downed targets in one of the settlements. There have also been cases of downed targets falling in open areas outside settlements.

Background: Earlier, Ukraine’s Air Force reported that on the night of 13-14 January, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 80 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of decoy drones. Fifty-eight drones were destroyed, while another 21 disappeared from radar. Nevertheless, the Air Force noted that the downed Russian drones caused damage in Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy oblasts.
