Less than 20% of Ukrainian state grid operator's substations remain without anti-drone protection
As of 10 January, 69 substations of Ukrenergo, Ukraine's national power supply company, have been equipped with the second level of protection, with work ongoing at another 13 substations.

Quote: "All of our energy facilities are now equipped with the first level of protection. It was decided to outfit 84 important Ukrenergo facilities with the second degree of security. The pool of major substations was divided into three stages. As of today, 69 facilities had been secured, with transformers placed in shielding. Another 13 facilities will be safeguarded by the end of January."
Details: Additionally, construction of third-level shielding has begun, which will protect 22 substations from missile strikes.
Background: In late December, Ukrenergo received €86 million from the European Investment Bank. The funds will be used to construct anti-drone protection for key substations in the electricity transmission system.
