Ukraine's defence forces have repelled 42 Russian attacks on the Pokrovsk front over the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, Russian troops are attempting to destroy as many houses as possible on the Kurakhove front to clear the way for their advance.

Quote: "Our defenders have repelled 42 Russian attacks on the Pokrovsk front over the past 24 hours. [These attacks targeted] the settlements of Baranivka, Miroliubivka, Lysivka and other areas south of the city [of Pokrovsk]. Active fighting has been raging there for quite some time. The Russians are trying to move west, attempting to infiltrate in small groups. Ukrainian troops are stopping them. Russian attempts to achieve some kind of break in the Ukrainian logistics chains have not been successful so far."

Details: The major noted that the Russian forces had launched 12 attacks on the Toretsk front, with active fighting continuing, including in Toretsk's built-up area.

On the Kurakhove front, as the Russians destroy residential buildings to facilitate their combat operations, the Ukrainian military is working to inflict maximum damage on their personnel and equipment.

Trehubov says that the Russians no longer have as much artillery or ammunition as they used to, partly due to the active use of drones by Ukrainian forces against artillery, counter-battery operations and the acquisition of more precise weapons by the Ukrainian defence forces.
