Ukraine's foreign minister outlines expectations of Poland's EU presidency
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has spoken about Ukraine's expectations of Poland's presidency of the European Union, which began on 1 January 2025.

Details: Sybiha said that in the first half of 2025, Ukraine is counting on Poland’s leadership, principled position and decisiveness.
He said he is hoping to work more closely with his Polish counterpart Radosław Sikorski "to advance the EU-Ukraine agenda".
Quote: "We anticipate new initiatives to strengthen military support for Ukraine and sanctions pressure on the aggressor. We aim for a dynamic process of Ukraine's EU accession, including the opening of Cluster 1 and other clusters based on the results of the screening process."
