Russians attack on Kherson kills man, injures two women
Russian forces attacked Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district on 1 January, killing one man and injuring two women.

Quote: "At midnight, Russian troops attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. As a result of the enemy attack, a 46-year-old woman who was in the building sustained a blast injury, concussion and shrapnel wounds to her limbs."
Details: The woman is currently under medical supervision. Her condition has been assessed as moderate.
Update: Later, local authorities reported that Russian forces once again attacked Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district at around 10:00. A 76-year-old woman sustained blast injuries, concussion, and shrapnel wounds to her leg in the artillery attack. She was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Prokudin later confirmed that a man sustained fatal injuries as a result of a Russian strike on Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district.
Quote: "On the first day of the new year, the Russians took the life of a Kherson resident," Prokudin said.
Mrochko added that the man was a volunteer who was constantly helping to rebuild the community.
Background: Around 20:00 on 31 December, Russian troops attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A 71-year-old woman was injured.
