Russia attacks Zaporizhzhia on New Year's Eve: explosions heard, houses on fire

At least two explosions were heard in the city of Zaporizhzhia during an air raid two hours before midnight on New Year’s Eve. The attack has caused a fire in a residential area.

Details: The military reported that Russian forces launched attack drones on Zaporizhzhia.

Earlier, the oblast was attacked with guided bombs. 

This marked the sixth air-raid warning in the oblast on 31 December.

Updated: Fedorov reported that several houses were burning in a settlement in the oblast due to a Russian attack at around 01:00 on 1 January. Rescue workers managed to save a woman.
