Italian Prime Minister Meloni meets with Hungary’s Orbán to discuss Ukraine
During a recent meeting, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and her Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orbán discussed the situation in the Middle East, their support for just peace in Ukraine and Ukraine’s postwar recovery.

Details: Meloni also congratulated Orbán on his six-month rotating presidency of the European Union Council, the first phase of EU accession negotiations with Albania, and the progress made with Bulgaria and Romania in the enlargement of the Schengen area.
Meloni and Orbán also underlined the importance of tackling the problem of illegal migration, calling for greater cooperation to address the root causes and combat trafficking and smuggling.
