Number of properties destroyed by Russia in Ukraine increases by 50,000 this year
The number of properties destroyed due to military actions in Ukraine has increased by 50,000 over the past year.

Quote: "At the beginning of 2024, 280,000 destroyed properties were recorded. This number has now grown to 330,000. Over the year, this dreadful dynamic has added 50,000 more destroyed properties."
Details: He emphasised that Ukraine's task is not only to rebuild what has been destroyed but to ensure that every recovery project incorporates meaningful and logical planning.
Kuleba believes digitalisation is the key tool to make reconstruction as clear, effective, transparent, and accountable as possible across all stages – from project planning and resource allocation to monitoring implementation.
Furthermore, digitalisation fosters trust not only within the country but also among international partners, which is crucial for mobilising aid and investments.
Background: Over the past three months, Russia has conducted 60 attacks on ports, civilian vessels, and grain storage facilities in Ukraine.
