104 clashes between Russians and Ukrainians occur on battlefield, most of them on Pokrovsk front – Ukraine's General Staff

The Russians have conducted 104 attacks on the frontline since the morning of 30 December. The General Staff notes that the greatest Russian activity is recorded on the Pokrovsk front.

Quote: "In total, 104 combat clashes have been recorded since the beginning of the day. Border settlements continue to suffer from attacks from the territory of the Russian Federation. The vicinity of Bachivsk and Oleksandrivka in Sumy Oblast and Tymofiivka in Kharkiv Oblast were hit by artillery fire."

Details: On the Kharkiv front, Russian soldiers attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk and Lyptsi twice without success.

On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian troops repelled four Russian attacks near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove, and seven more combat clashes are still ongoing.

On the Lyman front, the Russian army conducted ten attacks near Kopanky, Nadiia, Novoiehorivka, Makiivka, Ivanivka and Terny during the day, and fighting is currently ongoing in two locations.

On the Siversk front, the Russians conducted one attack near Bilohorivka, which was repelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

On the Kramatorsk front, Ukrainian troops repelled three assaults near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky, and four combat clashes are still ongoing.

On the Toretsk front, Russians tried to force Ukrainian troops out of their positions near Shcherbynivka and in Toretsk, where Ukrainian defence forces repelled two attacks. Four clashes are still ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk front, since the beginning of the day, the Russians have conducted 30 attempts to push Ukraine’s defence forces from their positions near the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Zelene, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Vovkove, Novoolenivka and Novoielyzavetivka. The defence forces have held back the onslaught and repelled 23 Russian attacks, with seven clashes still ongoing. The number of Russian losses is being confirmed.

On the Kurakhove front, the Russians conducted 11 attacks near Petropavlivka, Slovianka, Shevchenko and Kurakhove, and 2 attacks are ongoing.

On the Vremivka front, Ukrainian troops repelled 11 Russian attacks near Yantarne, Uspenivka, Vremivka and towards Kostiantynopol and Novosilka, four clashes are currently ongoing.
