More than 500,000 consumers in Kharkiv Oblast have been left without heat this week following an attack by the Russian army, but as of the afternoon on 29 December, the heat supply was restored.

Source: Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, on Telegram and in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda

Note: The first version of the headline mistakenly stated that 500,000 people were left without heat. In fact, the authorities did not specify the number of people without heat supply, noting that "specialists continue repair work" and "more than 500,000 consumers in Kharkiv Oblast were left without heat".

Later, Syniehubov informed Ukrainska Pravda that heat supply was restored to all consumers.

Details: Engineers are continuing repair work to restore the heat supply.

It is worth noting that the number of residents without heat has increased; on Wednesday, following the massive attack, the figure was 300,000.

Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration also claimed that on Saturday, a civilian resident was murdered in the village of Dvorichna when an explosive was dropped from a drone.

Background: The day before, it was noted that 85,000 energy consumers in Kharkiv alone were without heat supply.
