Security Service of Ukraine takes up case of Ukrainian teenager's suicide in Russia

On the evening of 24 December, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine announced the initiation of proceedings in connection with information about the death of a Ukrainian teenager abducted from Kherson Oblast by the Russians.

Details: Ukrainian security services responded to media reports about the suicide of a Ukrainian teenager, a resident of a family-type home in the village of Tokarivka, Kherson Oblast.

The boy was abducted and taken to Russia.

The pre-trial investigation will be conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine. The case was opened over a war crime that resulted in the death of a person.
