69% of Ukrainians see EU membership as the best integration path for Ukraine

More than two-thirds of Ukrainians believe that joining the European Union would be the best integration path for Ukraine.

Details: When asked, "Which integration path should Ukraine follow?", 69% of respondents chose EU membership, marking the highest level of support since 2013 when this question was first included in sociological surveys.  

An additional 18% believe Ukraine should not join any union.  

Only 1% of respondents still support joining the Eurasian Customs Union with Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, with this percentage being the lowest recorded since the survey began.  

Respondents aged 18 to 49 were 11.5% more likely to support EU membership than those over 50. Those living in central and western Ukraine were 16% more likely to support European integration than residents of southern and eastern regions.  

Respondents living below the poverty line were 18% less likely to support EU membership compared to those who are poverty-stricken or relatively wealthier.  

The survey also found that 47% of Ukrainians would support Ukraine's NATO membership, even if parts of the country remain under Russian occupation.
