AN-72 military transport aircraft explodes near Moscow, Ukraine's intelligence reports – video

An AN-72 military transport aircraft has exploded at the Ostafyevo airfield in Russia's Moscow Oblast.

Details: The incident occurred a week ago but was only reported on 20 December.

Quote: "An explosion occurred at the Ostafyevo airfield in Russia's Moscow Oblast on 12 December. The main engine of an AN-72 military transport aircraft, operated by the navy of the aggressor state, Russia, exploded."

Details: DIU emphasised that the estimated cost of such an aircraft is around US$4.5 million. 

Quote: "Every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people will be met with just retribution," DIU stated.
