Russians burn faces of dead North Koreans so they can’t be identified – Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine has confirmation that Russia is disguising North Korean military personnel as Russian citizens and burning the faces of dead soldiers to prevent them from being identified.

Details: Zelenskyy said that according to Ukrainian intelligence, North Korea has deployed more than 12,000 soldiers to Russia. They have already suffered losses. No cases of North Korean soldiers surrendering have been recorded so far.
Quote: "Regarding the North Korean troops, so far we have seen more than 12,000. I don't know whether the number recorded by our services will be higher. We'll see.
As for prisoners, there have been none so far. But we have videos and photos of dead North Korean soldiers. Almost all of them are found with Russian passports. We also have a video showing the Russians burning their faces to prevent them from being recognised. Our services can share it. I have seen it for myself.
They’ve done the same thing with their own troops: they burned them completely, and those they didn’t burn they left to rot on the ground. But here [with the North Koreans], they’re burning their faces."
