Kursk front sees most fighting on Saturday – Ukraine's General Staff
Ukrainian and Russian forces clashed 166 times throughout the war zone as of 16:00 Saturday, with the largest number of combat engagements, 45, being recorded on the Kursk front.

Quote: "Since the beginning of the day, 45 combat engagements have taken place on the Kursk front, 26 of which are still in progress. In addition, the enemy carried out seven airstrikes, dropping ten guided bombs and conducted 212 artillery attacks on Russian settlements and positions of our defenders."
Details: Russian artillery and mortar fire affected the areas of the settlements of Huta Studenetska, Halahanivka, Berylivka, Mykolaivka, Tymonovychi in Chernihiv Oblast, and Dmytrivka in Sumy Oblast. An airstrike was carried out on the settlement of Oleksandrivka in Chernihiv Oblast.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions twice in the area of Lozova.
On the Lyman front, the Russians carried out 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Pershotravneve, Zelenyi Hai, Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Nadiia, Makiivka and Terny. Three combat engagements are in progress.
On the Siversk front, Russian forces are continuing to look for weaknesses in Ukrainian defences near the settlements of Verkhnokamianske, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Vyimka and Berestove. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled eight Russian attacks, and three combat engagements are still in progress. In addition, the Russians launched four guided bombs on the settlements of Siversk and Hryhorivka.
On the Toretsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled five Russian assaults in the area of Toretsk. In addition, the Russians launched six guided aerial bombs on Krymske and Petrivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Russian troops mounted 19 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders out of their positions near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud and Novoolenivka. Ukrainian forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 17 Russian attacks, with two engagements still ongoing. In addition, the Russians launched two guided bombs on Stara Mykolayivka and Nova Poltavka.
On the Kurakhove front, the Russians launched 28 attacks near the settlements of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Zoria, Kurakhove, Lysivka, Yelyzavetivka, Hannivka and Uspenivka. Ukrainian forces have repelled 19 Russian attempts to advance.
On the Vremivka front, the Russians attempted to break through Ukrainian defences 19 times near the settlements of Trudove, Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopilske, Rozdolne, Novyi Komar and Novoandriivka. Eleven combat engagements are still ongoing, and the Russians dropped two guided aerial bombs on the areas of Temyrivka and Novopil.
On the Huliaipole front, the Russians launched rockets on the area of Huliaipole.
On the Orikhove front, Russian forces attacked Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne with guided aerial bombs.
On the Prydniprovske front, the Russians launched rockets in the vicinity of Mykolaivka.
