OSCE to discuss Russia's strike on Ukraine with Oreshnik experimental ballistic missile – Ukraine's foreign minister
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has announced that the Russian attack on the city of Dnipro with an Oreshnik experimental ballistic missile will be discussed at the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe on Wednesday, 27 November.

Details: He noted that "upon Ukraine’s urgent request", the OSCE will discuss Russia's escalating use of intermediate-range ballistic missiles in its aggression against Ukraine at a special joint meeting of the Permanent Council and the Forum for Security Co-operation.
Quote: "Russia poses the greatest threat to security in the OSCE region. Its unacceptable actions demonstrate that only Moscow seeks to expand the war. They must be condemned and stopped. We will use every international platform and mechanism to increase global pressure on the aggressor."
The OSCE remains one of the few pan-European organisations where Russia retains membership. However, since the organisation requires consensus for all decisions, Moscow continues to block any resolutions it opposes.
Background:
- Earlier, reports indicated that due to Russia's first use of an experimental ballistic missile, which the Russians named Oreshnik, a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council will take place on 26 November.
- Sybiha stressed earlier that Kyiv hopes for "concrete, meaningful results" after the NATO-Ukraine Council.
- At the same time, Olha Stefanishyna, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, noted that the meeting will focus on support for Ukraine in general.
