Ukraine's General Staff confirms attack on oil depot in Russia's Kaluga Oblast

Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of Russian critical infrastructure facilities in Russia on the night of 24-25 November.

Details: Reports indicate that Ukraine's Armed Forces struck Russian key targets in Bryansk, Kaluga and Kursk oblasts of Russia.
Background:
- Earlier, Russian Telegram channels reported that drones had been shot down in Kaluga on the night of 24-25 November. The governor of Kaluga Oblast said that the wreckage of one of the drones fell on premises belonging to an industrial firm, causing a fire.
- Later, Andrii Kovalenko, Head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, said that drones had attacked the Typhoon plant, part of the Russian defence industrial base, in the city of Kaluga.
- Subsequently, a Ukrainska Pravda source in Ukraine’s defence forces said that Ukrainian drones had struck a fuel and energy infrastructure facility in Kaluga Oblast.
