Germany and Ukraine discuss cooperation in air defence and armoured vehicle production
Serhii Boiev, the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defence for European Integration, and Nils Hilmer, State Secretary at the German Defence Ministry, have discussed cooperation in the production of air defence systems and armoured vehicles.

Details: The defence ministry said the talks took place on the sidelines of the 16th International Security Forum in Halifax, Canada.
This annual conference is one of the most influential and representative global platforms for discussing security and defence issues.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged information about plans for cooperation in 2025 and discussed specific types of weapons that could be supplied.
Quote from Boiev: "We discussed the possibility of deeper German involvement in supplying heavy armoured vehicles to Ukraine."
More details: Boiev also proposed that his German counterpart consider enhanced cooperation between Ukrainian and German defence companies in the production of air defence systems and armoured vehicles.
Background:
