Over 120 combat clashes recorded along front line, 12 attacks repelled in Kursk Oblast – Ukraine's General Staff

As of 16:00, 122 military clashes have occurred on the front, with 12 Russian attacks repelled in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.

Quote: "The operation continues in Kursk Oblast. Enemy aircrafts continue to attack villages and cities. Since the start of the day, Russian planes have carried out 18 strikes, delivering 21 guided bombs on their own territory. Today, Ukraine’s defence forces have repelled 12 attacks by Russian Federation occupation forces on this front, and the battles are still ongoing."

Details: On Sunday 24 November, Russian artillery and mortar crews struck the settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy Oblasts, including Solianyky, Khrinivka, Basivka, Zhuravka, Novenke, Oleksandriia, Volfyne, Obody, and Tymofiivka.

On the Kharkiv front, the Russians twice attacked Ukrainian soldiers in the vicinity of Tykhe and Vovchansk; the Ukrainian forces withstood one attack, while one combat clash is still unfolding. In addition, Russian planes bombed Hranove.

On the Kupiansk front, the Russians attacked Ukraine’s defence forces eight times around Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Kruhliakivka, Senkove, and Lozova.

On the Lyman front, the Russian forces launched 19 attacks on Ukrainian positions around the settlements of Druzheliubivka, Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Torske, and Serebrianka, with three combat clashes still ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers remain resolute in their defence and inflict losses on the Russians.

Since the beginning of the day, Ukraine’s forces on the Kramatorsk front have repelled four Russian attacks near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

On the Toretsk front, the Russian forces attempted six advances in the areas of Dyliivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka, with one clash ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk front, the Russians made 16 efforts to press the Ukrainian defenders from their positions in Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Dachenske, Pustynka, and Chumatske. Ukrainian soldiers resisted the onslaught, repelling 12 attacks; four combat clashes are still ongoing.

On the Kurakhove front, the Russian forces attacked 34 times near settlements of Berestky, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Dalnie, Romanivka, Yelyzavetivka, and Hanivka. While 23 Russian attacks were successfully repelled, one is still ongoing. 

Five Russian attacks continue on the Vremivka front, specifically in the vicinity of Trudove, Novosilka and Makarivka. Ukrainian defenders have withstood eight Russian advances in this area.

The Russians attempted an unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian soldiers' positions on the Prydniprovske front.
