Details: Hlukhova finished 36th in the main competition, marking the best result in Ukraine's history at the World Cup, and only the third time a Ukrainian female athlete has made it into the top 40. The previous two instances were achieved by her teammate Tetiana Pylypchuk, who did not advance to the main round today.
Earlier in the day, Hlukhova secured her place in the main competition by finishing 38th in the qualification round with a jump of 105.5 metres. This set a new Ukrainian record for ski jump distance among women, improving the previous best by 4.5 metres. The athlete from Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast achieved this milestone just at the age of 17.
This season marks Hlukhova's debut in the World Cup. On 23 November, during the first individual event, neither she nor Pylypchuk managed to qualify.
