Kremlin denies Putin may agree to ceasefire in Ukraine
Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for Russian leader Vladimir Putin, has said that Putin would not be satisfied with freezing the war in Ukraine, although he is supposedly prepared to negotiate with Kyiv. The comment came after Reuters published an article stating that Putin was willing to discuss the possibility of freezing the war.

Quote from Peskov: "[Putin] has also already said that the option of freezing this conflict [Russia’s aggression against Ukraine] would not satisfy us. It’s important for us to achieve our goals, which everyone knows about."
Details: Peskov also said that Putin "has said on many occasions, and in fact constantly says that he is ready to be contacted and to negotiate".
Previously: Earlier today, Reuters reported that Russian officials have said that Russian ruler Vladimir Putin is open to discussing a ceasefire agreement in Ukraine with Donald Trump, but rules out the liberation of occupied territories and insists that Ukraine abandon its NATO aspirations.
