Russians increase their offensive in Kursk Oblast: Ukrainian forces repelled more than 20 assaults, Russian aviation dropped 37 guided aerial bombs

Over the past day, the Russian forces increased the number of attacks in Kursk Oblast from 10 to 22, where the Ukrainian defence forces’s operation is underway, with a total of 143 combat engagements taking place on the frontline.

Details: Six combat clashes took place on the Kharkiv front near Vovchansk.

The number of attacks on the Kupiansk front reached nine over the last day. Ukrainian defence forces repelled the Russian assault near Kruhliakivka and Lozova.

The Russians attacked six times on the Lyman front near Novoliubivka, Torske and Bilohorivka.

The Russians conducted four attacks on the Toretsk front near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 assaults on the Pokrovsk front in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka, Pustynka and Novooleksiivka, where the Russians, supported by aviation, tried to push our units out of their positions.

The Ukrainian forces repelled 30 attacks on the Kurakhove front near Berestky, Sontsivka, Voznesenka, Dalne, Yelyzavetivka, Katerynivka and Antonivka, where the Russians tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops.

The Russians carried out 14 assault attacks on the Vremivka front near Trudove, Rozdolne, Makarivka, Rivne and Novodarivka.

There were eight combat clashes on the Prydniprovske front in the island zone of the Dnipro River delta. The Russians failed to achieve any success.

The situation did not change significantly on the Siversk, Kramatorsk, Huliaipole and Orikhove fronts. There were no signs of Russian offensive groups forming on the Volyn and Polissia fronts.

Defence forces continue operations in Kursk Oblast. The Russians, supported by aircraft, continue to attack Ukrainian  territory. Over the past day, Russians carried out 27 airstrikes, dropping 37 guided aerial bombs. Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 assault attacks by the invaders.

The Russians maintain a military presence on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, attacking settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

At the same time, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian forces, exhausting them along the entire line of contact.
