Defence Ministry approves Zubr armoured vehicle for use in Ukraine's Armed Forces

Ukraine’s Defence Ministry has announced that it has authorised the use of the all-wheel-drive, high-mobility armoured vehicle Zubr ("Wisent") in the defence forces units.

Quote from the ministry: "This armoured vehicle is multifunctional, offering exceptional mobility, manoeuvrability, and compact size."

Details: The armoured vehicle is fitted with reinforced independent suspension, allowing it to travel at relatively high speeds over challenging terrain and navigate shallow water obstacles.  

Its armour and design offer protection for personnel against small arms fire and reduce the risk of injury to the driver and passengers in the event of a mine or IED explosion.  

The Zubr is also capable of transporting troops and evacuating the wounded, with the option to be fitted with additional weapons.
