Belarusian prankster Vladislav Bokhan, posing as a representative of Russia’s United Russia party, convinced teachers in Voronezh Oblast to create tin foil hats in a "patriotic workshop" dubbed the Helmet of the Fatherland. The local Education Ministry department has reportedly praised their efforts.

Details: The prankster circulated an "order" to schools in the region, using the name of an official from the regional United Russia branch, along with instructions for making tin foil hats.

The regional branch of Russia's Education Ministry commended the teachers, stating that, despite being "the subject of an inappropriate joke", they had "demonstrated patriotic spirit, strong dedication, and a creative approach to any task".

For reference: Bokhan has previously orchestrated similar pranks. In 2022, he persuaded a school administration in Klin to organise a subbotnik (community clean-up day) and pose with a poster reading "One people, one nation, one ruler" [in allusion to a Nazi propaganda phrase, "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer" – ed.]. Notably, the Roman letter "V", a symbol used by Russian forces and propaganda in the war against Ukraine, replaced the Cyrillic letter "В" (which has the same sound) in one of the words on the poster.
