US may soon announce ceasefire date and security guarantees for Ukraine – Poland's PM

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has stressed that essential statements regarding the ceasefire in Ukraine, the border along which it will be in force, and security guarantees for Kyiv are expected shortly.

Details: Tusk noted that US President-elect Donald Trump's plan for Ukraine, which had been partially disclosed by the media, was currently being prepared.

He believes that statements on the ceasefire date, what borders would be upheld by it, and security guarantees for Ukraine can be expected shortly.

"These will certainly be decisions involving less US interference in Ukrainian affairs," he added.

Tusk emphasised that "decisions on the war in Ukraine can neither be made over the heads of Ukrainians nor over ours".
