Three US congressmen arrive in Kyiv

United States congressmen Mike Rogers, Jerry Carl and Mike Quigley arrived in Kyiv on Friday, 1 November.

Details: Mike Rogers is a member of the Republican Party and a congressman from Alabama.

Jerry Karl is also an Alabama congressman and a Republican, and Mike Quigley is a representative of the Democratic Party and a congressman from Illinois.

Brink said that their first stop was to the Ukrainian National Police.

"Our first stop was [at the National Police of Ukraine] to see firsthand how US assistance is making a difference on the ground in support of Ukraine’s freedom and democracy," she said

Background: On Monday, 21 October, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit.
