Russians prepare offensive in Zaporizhzhia Oblast to cut off Ukrainian military logistics – Ukrainian forces

Ukraine's defence forces anticipate that Russian troops will intensify their assault operations near the settlements of Orikhiv and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast in the coming days, aiming to gain fire control over Ukrainian logistics routes.

Quote: "There's what's known as the Robotyne bulge where Orikhiv and Nova Tokmachka are... If there's a breakthrough there, the enemy can take fire control of the logistics routes that stretch from Zaporizhzhia to Ukraine's east, where our defence forces hold both Donetsk Oblast and the southern part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

So the enemy will attempt to take control of this at any cost to cut off our logistics."

Details: Voloshyn noted that "new assault actions are underway and being prepared in this area".

"Our intelligence indicates that new assault groups are being assembled near Orikhiv and Robotyne – in particular, the enemy is deploying personnel there, conducting reconnaissance, intelligence, ensuring logistical support and is likely to intensify new assault actions soon, in a few days," the spokesman said.
