Russians shoot down their aircraft that was launching guided aerial bombs – Ukrainska Pravda's source, videos

A Russian plane that was firing guided aerial bombs (GABs) on Ukrainian-controlled territory crashed in Donetsk Oblast after being shot down by Russian troops.

Details: Ukrainian and Russian media and bloggers began writing about the downing of the aircraft in Donetsk Oblast on the afternoon of 5 October.

A video showing air defence systems responding and the fire being contained after the plane crashed was posted online, but whether it was the same plane is unknown.

The source reports that the Russians themselves shot down the aircraft as a result of friendly fire.
